We are a team of friends who are passionate about making a difference to people. We are dedicated to the detection and correction of postural imbalances that cause pain and discomfort in the body.

We provide clear, authentic communication to educate our community and empower them to live life pain free. We love to inspire and encourage all those who seek our help.

By transforming people’s posture, we transform their lives. When you can live life free from pain, stiffness and injury, you can get reconnected to your dreams, aspirations and ambitions. You get to live a life you love and love living on this earth and we love that we can help you achieve that.

Liz Started in 2002 when she opened Stonehouse Chiropractic clinic. She moved to Gloucester in 2012 and became Liz the Chiropractor. Since then we have continued to grow and expand and we felt it was about time we changed our name to reflect who we are and what we do.

After a name-changing competition with staff and patients “Liz the Chiropractor” became Posture Right Chiropractors in 2019.

2020 will always be remembered for COVID 19 and the difficulties and tragedies that brought on a global scale.  It was uncertain and scary times and all Chiropractic clinics were advised by our governing body and all associations to close indefinitely.

After much research and reaching out to other health care professionals we realised it was our duty to help relieve the pressure on the NHS by offering treatment to key workers suffering with conditions such as back pain and neck pain.

A dentist friend gave us the PPE supplies we needed  and within 3 weeks of the lockdown announcement, we were able to offer treatment in a safe environment and do our part to help. We first treated nurses, members of the police force and delivery drivers.

Word soon got out that we were able to help and so both Nick and I started treating our others as well as our current patients who were not shielding or self-isolating. Two terms i had never heard of until 2020!

Like most businesses, our admin staff all had children at home in lockdown and were unable to come to work or work from home, so it was down to Nick and I.

I soon realised that, to be able to treat everyone safely and have a safe environment for all the staff after lockdown, we needed to make the Clinic environment spacious for social distancing and easy to clean and have our own private hand washing facilities.

We closed the clinic for 2 weeks to completely refurbish the downstairs reception and treatment room. Rachel and Aggy love their new reception “booth” with its clear screens and easy to clean surfaces.

We bought them individual keyboards and mouse and even had 2 phones and their own personal chair so they didn’t have to worry about sharing a desk.

We put automatic hand sanitizers in and hand washing facilities in the treatment room and put in a small kitchen for staff use. Everyone loves the new space.

We are still expanding and looking for other Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists to come and join us.

Our plan is to train more qualified manual therapists, such as Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Physiotherapists to do what we do and make long lasting, life changing differences to people all over the world.

Nick found Chiropractic after a knee injury curtailed his goal of running a marathon.

Nick met Liz at an Advanced Biostructural Correction™ Seminar and struck up a friendship straight away. Nick has been a major part in the growth of Posture Right Chiropractors.

Moving from his home-town in Surrey at short notice when Liz broke her wrist in 2016, his life and family has expanded ever since. In 2018 he married his long-term girlfriend, Natalie and now has two young children, Rheuban and Sophie and a dog called Zen.

He’s a keen runner, cyclist and a bee-keeper and loves the outdoor life. Nick comes from a musical family and, although he won’t boast this himself, he can play the violin.

Liz met Rob at an ABC seminar and struck up a friendship and Liz invited Rob to come over from Farringdon to Gloucester to get adjusted regularly using ABC. As the clinic grew, Liz invited Rob to join us part time and is very glad he accepted the invitation.

When Rob isn’t helping his Veterinary Chiropractor Wife, Carly, with the ever increasing rescue dogs, he runs, hikes and skis.

Moosa Shaikh

Chiropractor

We met Moosa when he came to observe us treating patients, both in his first year and his final year studying Chiropractic. We were all very impressed with his knowledge, his attitude to life, as well as his attitude to health and wellbeing that we invited him to Join the Posture Right Team in 2022.

Rachel and Liz met and became friends at church and sang together in the worship team back in 2014.

When Rachel hurt her back a few years later, she sought help from us. Liz soon realised that Rachel could help us by providing some well needed admin support and so Rachel became our first Chiropractic Assistant in 2018 and enjoys free Chiropractic Care that comes with the job.

In her spare time Rachel continues to sing and has the most wonderful mezzo-soprano voice and makes the most beautiful hand-made cards for all occasions.

We all love our unique, fabulous birthday cards she makes for us all. Rachel is married to Steve and they have 3 children, Callum, Haydn and Darcie.

Agnieszka Gorska

Chiropractic Assistant, Head of Social Media Content & Website Content

Aggy joined our team in 2019 after outshining 30 other applicants in a group interview. We invited her back to interview us and before we knew it, she was tidying up the office, chatting to patients and offering us cups of coffee!

Aggy has developed her role and is now in charge of our social media and marketing.

She was born in Poland and came to the UK when she was just 21.

She is fluent in 3 languages and is keen to learn Spanish and play the drums.

Aggy and her son Sasha both love long walks on the beach or in the forest and Martial Arts classes!

Aggy is very much into spreading mental health awareness as she thinks that everyone’s mental health is just important as their physical health and both of these things deserve the same amount of support and understanding!

Sam Reed

Chiropractic Assistant

Sam Reed

Sam started coming to the practice for treatment and we thought she would fit in well and so we asked her to apply for a job! She is a very hard worker and likes talking with the patients. It is important to her that they feel welcome and happy, while waiting for their appointment. Sam can talk about most things but especially likes films/series (especially the lord of the rings/Harry Potter), Speedway and NHL Ice Hockey (her team is the Philadelphia flyers) and she likes books.

Sam can also play a few songs on the guitar (which she taught herself to play). Sam is an animal lover but prefers cats to dogs.

Sam enjoys travelling to Poland to watch speedway with her family (even though she hasn’t been for a while) and has currently been learning to speak Polish since 2016. She loves practising with Aggy when they are together
